We met each other at Kathmandu through our friend circle in 2014. One day while joining get together party with friends one of our friends introduced us to each other. It suddenly struck my mind – ‘Wow Sunuwar girl!’ Right from that moment, like some weird forces pushing me towards her, I started to notice her and without my notice, she had been noticing me too. However, it took a long time to become acquainted and know each other.
Thanks to social media, we have established connections through Facebook, where we became friends in chitchat which has brought us here today. She began to comfort me whenever we talk while I was preparing for the next move. One day I offered her to meet for coffee, she agreed though she didn’t believe me. We went to a coffee shop, it was boundless laugh and gossip meanwhile she was expressing her ultimate shyness. That was our first date in 2015, and we never forget that moment.
Though, we now knew that we have crushes on each other but wanted initiation from other first. It was March 2016, I could wait no longer to propose to her, without any surprise, she accepted instantly. Although we kept it secret and acted like nothing ever happened, we officially disclosed our relationship with our parents and relatives in May 2017.
